Bomber from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a very hazy amber color with nearly no head. Looks like unfiltered apple juice. Aroma of sweet apples, tart finish, faint spices and a hint of vanilla. The taste is sweet and tart apples, cinnamon, citrus, vanilla, a bit of a cardamom note. Medium bodied. I was afraid this would be a spice bomb, but its actually really well balanced and quite tasty.

Aroma is overripe apples, with hints of cinnamon and vinegar. Cloudy apricot colored. Extremely smooth and silky mouthfeel, restrained carbonation. Flavor is of fresher apples and cinnamon is more prominent. Subtle vanilla notes are also detected. Quaffable and fabulous. Nice work, Fox Barrel!

Clear. Sweet, light palate. Sweetness is not overwhelming. A little yeast, not too bad. It isnβt too sweet. At Beer Dabbler, 2010, served by Crispin Cider.

Nice floral pear aroma that leans toward new plastic/chemical, but is somehow still pleasant. Clear champagne colored, little carbonation visible. Honeysuckle, pear, and cotton candy flavor. Creamsicle finish. Wow, there are some really neat things happening in this perry. Iβve never tasted anything quite like it. As different as hefeweizens are to lagers this is to ordinary perries. Super!

Bottled sample at the World Beer Festival Richmond, 6/12/10. Pours a clear pale yellow color with no head. Very big, intense, perfumey pear aroma. Fairly sweet. The taste is sweet and dry pear notes with a slightly earthy texture. Light and refreshing.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. On March 11, 2010Rating from memory, had no pad with me.Clear light yellow color, pretty much no head. Dry, wine like, a bit sulphuric scent. Dry, vinous, alcohol, doow like taste. Medium mouthfeel, tart aftertaste. Some bitterness. Feels like a not so weet white wine, mixed with champagne, mixed with apple cider. Not my cup or tea, though not bad at all. Not very sweet, which is nice.
