22 oz bottle purchased at Esquin Wine Merchant in Seattle, Washington. Pour is a hazed dark cola brown with an off white head that falls with some slight lacing. Aroma of pine hops and mildly charred roast malt in equal measures. Leads to a balance and a real freshness. Simple, but nice nose. Taste is pine hop, peanut and shell, the (slight) roast malt and more residual peanut shells in the finish. Palate is light bodied, active carbonation and a clean thin finish. This is a nice enough beer, though it alternately tastes like a thin hoppy porter or a thin roasty IPA - either way its not quite a Porter or an IPA - I don’t know if that detracts or not, I just found it interesting.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours ruddy copper with a one finger beige head. Aroma is coffee. Not sure about the chocolate. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is really coffee. Takes awhile for the chocolate to show up, but it outlasts the coffee. This is stark. They really put a lot into this one. Whoof.

Very dark brown. Moderately creamy sweet beer. Good balance. Some creaminess in the finish, too...but the richness for me becomes too one-dimensional, like maybe I want some hops in the finish.

Clear amber with a tiny off white head. Plenty of hops in the aroma along with caramel and ripe fruits. Sweet and hoppy flavour with pine, grapefruits and mild malt.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrusy hops, and some toffee, leading to a dry caramel finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and redish with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild spiced and hoppy dry wooden. Bitter, crisp fruity and light wooden hoppy note into a light caramelish flavour into the finish. Lingering caramelish and fruity into the far finish. Lasting dry impression.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of scrizzz. Pours a warm deep reddish amber with a beige head. The nose has some burned caramel and peachy hops. Solid body, loads of burned caramel and roasted malts with peachy hops. Quite a bitter finish. 280110

Sample from bomber. Somewhat spicy in the nose; coffee comes out obviously. Pours reddish amber with a medium head, nice lacing. Taste is very coffee. Creamy mouthfeel, medium carbonation, medium body. Very yummy.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark mahogany with a decent tan head. Seems to smell of dark roast and chocolate. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. Wow. It is malty. Very smooth. More like caramel than chocolate. Roast malt. As the sweet drains away there is some bitter. Dark and smooth it is. Good on a winter evening.
