Bottle shared by Skyview. I really like this West coast style ipa. Huge pine and sour citrus aroma. Flavor is bitter with grapefruit and citrus, just a little sour, but it is fruit sourness and not from yeast or an infection. Dry grass finish. Brown color. Well above average.

Bottled. A brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and nuts, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Per for sharing.

Pours a slightly hazy copper with off white head. The aroma is a combination of earthy, floral, lemon zest and orange peel. It smells pretty cool but a bit different for an IPA. The taste is an immediate assault from earthiness and lightly roasted malt sweetness. OK, a mild assault. Toward midway bitter floral hops, spice hops and a some pine hops join in and get progressively more bitter into the finish. This is a somewhat different combination of hops than I’m used to for an IPA. They play very nicely together. Just the right amount of overall bitterness, some malts and a couple twists and turns to add interest. Nice job.

Draught, Stumbling Monk
Golden colour, loose head. Very hoppy, dusty nose with light ’farmhouse’ accent. Lots of dusty, powdery hop and vague farmhouse yeast and citrusy accents. Seems quite evident this is the Dupont yeast, but this homage lacks that special something the original has.

Bottled. Hazy amber, average head. Soapy metallic nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Metallic with notes of blood. Low bitterness. The very harsh mouthfeel really puts me off.
