Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Max & Stas. Murky amber. Oak, fruitiness, vinegar, funk, lacto, a bit of vanilla, wine notes, lemony, bitterish note, medium-bodied. Really good.

Danke an anstei. Dumpf hopfiger Beginn, alt wirkend. Starke Bitterkeit, moderat würzig, deutliche Getreidenoten. Mit der Zeit weniger hopfig, die Bitterkeit bleibt intensiv. Wenig fruchtig, langer Abgang, feine Karbonisierung. Nicht mein Fall. 10/8/8/9/9/9

Bottle shared at Craft beer co Islington. 18/12/2018. Many thanks! A dark mahognay brown coloured pourw itrh a loose dirty tan head. Aroma is semi sweet praline, caramel, brown sugars, caramel, rum barrle. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, caramel brown sugars, , light sour. . Palate is solvent harsh, warming alcolh.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of Max. Shared with him, JFK10000 and kajser27. Brown, off white head. Nice aroma, caramel, sweetish, some dried fruit, bit empty finish. Somewhat watery. Bitterish finish.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. Thanks to anstei! BBE October 2019. Color is slightly murky orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Pine, some resin, some hops and malts. Quite heavy pine on flavors, not very fresh. Some caramel too.

Bouteille 75cl, bottled 07/2016. Brune col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme fruité bien orienté sur les cerises surtout en rétro-nasal. Malt cara pâle touche fine de chocolaté, essence de levure sauvage ajoutant un bouquet funk plaisant. Petite note de grillé qui revient sur la fin. Palais est finement aigrelet, funk, cerise marquée dans effet griotte aigre, le tout sur un petit effet de vieille brune avec fini biscuité voire candi. Effervescence est haute avec un fini fruité rouge qui perdure.

Bottle shared in London - cheers boyos! Pours deep brown with a frothy tan head. A little astringent, some leathery berries, cherry, ashy roast, bitter cocoa. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation, warming finish, more bitter earth, cocoa and dried berries. Alright.
