Description
Eik & Tid (Oak & Time) is a farmhouse beer inspired brewery in Oslo, Norway dedicated to making sour and wild beer the nordic way.

Our entire brew setup is customized to fit the raw beer brewing process. By modifying surplus dairy tanks from Norwegian farms, we where able to get what we needed at an affordable cost. We also like the added bonus of upcycling derelict equipment instead of getting new made and shipped half across the globe.

Small slightly bubbly shortlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly dry grassy, hay, old leafs, minerals, grass, oak, sawdust, paper. On tap at HaandFest. An unclear, yellow colored beer with a small white head. Fruity-sourish aroma with lemon hints, juniper, barnyard funk and a yeasty touch. It's dry and medium bodied, tart and with a nice carbonation level. Some pale malts in the back of the flavor, with lemony, funky sourness, barnyard and a forest-like juniper taste. Sure unusual, sure refreshing. Could I drink a lot of it? Don't know. 170526

On tap at Patricks. It's a n unclear amber coloured beer with a finger thick pinkish beige head. Nice curtains. The aroma is quite fruity and berryish, with a touch of peach. Toffee notes, raspberry candy and a light funky leather scent. It's medium bodied and smooth on the palate, dry and lightly tart, with a very soft and smooth carbonation. Raspberry, dark berries, hints of toffee and lemon juice, some leather and old cellar, and some dried fruits in the flavor. Lasting light tart finish with dark berries, toffee and lemon and raspberry sourness. A smooth, tasteful and easy drinkable beer indeed. 180218
