At Ghent Beer Society's Beer Quiz; shared with Anke & Pieter!
Clear pale yellow with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon (peel), cucumber, lactic acid, yeast, barnyard and hops. It tastes medium citric sour and light hoppy bitter; tart, yet also yeasty and hoppy in the finish. Medium body, slick/oily texture, soft carbonation. I didn't know it was a Sour Ale before I had it, so I had different expectations. Worked out well though.

On tap at På Kornet, Stavanger. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of lemon, grass, herbs, celery, cheese, medicine, soil. Taste sour with some earthy-cheesy umami and a little malt sweetness. Thin bodied. Interesting.

Keg at Barr, CPH, 11/11/17. Hazed golden yellow with a decent off white head. Nose is big on sprucey wood, lemon pissoi, grains, herbal tones. Taste comprises tarte citric sherbets, funk levels, spice, spruce, damp wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok drop for a traditional / sour crossover.

[Copenhagen 2017] Thank you! Sampled draft @ Barr. Hazy orange, creamy white. Nose is weird funky berries, low plastic, chemical funk. Taste is smoked weeds farmhouse funk, sour cabbage, wild berries, funk. Plastic farmhouse funk body. Strange but largely appealing.

Tap at Crowbar, Oslo, 11th October 17. Pours a hazy straw yellow. Aroma is lemon sherbert, funk, sour. Taste is sour, raw, lemon, yeast, really interesting and well balanced, morish and lovely.
