Description
The Brasserie du Dauphiné is a Grenobloise company. The fruit of my passion for good beer, it is also the result of a dream: to bring the Dauphiné brewing tradition to life and to give Grenoble back its beer, after fifty years of absence.
Its commercial brand has long been Fabrique Mandrin, named after its unique beer brand until 2016. Then, with the creation of two new brands, beers from the Alps and Nobow beers, the commercial brand became Brasserie du Dauphiné .

Bottled 330ml. -from Casino supermarket, Alpe d’Huez. Simply Mandrin Biere Blache. Pale yellow coloured, small white head, some herbs in the nose. Quite dry herbal vegetables taste with touch of spices and some Alpine herbs in the finish. Interesting in a way but no thanks again.

Thanks Ogi for bringing this from France! Shared with him and heavy. Misty/murky yellow body, medium white head. Sourish, soft otherwise aroma, perhaps coriander, maybe banana. Soft, mild taste, very, very empty. Creamy, vaguely tangy around the edges. Very, very vaguely citric, very very vaguely something sweetish, maybe, maaaybe coriander. Just too weak. But drinkable, chuggable even.

Thanks Ogi for bringing this from France! Shared with him and heavy. Misty pale yellow-golden body. Small white head. Soft, full fruity aroma, very mild phenols too. Mild sweetish soft yeasty taste, mildly estery, not too sweet. Medium carbonation. Not that complex really but drinkable and somewhat enjoyable.

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, oxidation, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, oxidation, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter fnish.

Bottled 750ml. -from Geant Albertville. Murky golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, spicy coriander nose with hint of meat. Rather empty yeasty and slight spicy with notes of vegetables. Some weak bitterness in the finish but all in all boring and not so good one.

La Mandrin BIO Blonde... Courtesy of Ogi who brought it from France - thanks! Poured a murky deep golden body with a small white head. Malty, herbal and peachy, slightly spicy aroma, somewhat dusty and yeasty. Somewhat promising... The taste, however, isn’t. Empty, slightly tart, a bit stale taste, yeasty. Malty, yeasty and that’s it. Highly unimpressive, I’m afraid. I hope their other beers are better!
