Tap @ Old Chicago, Denver. Pours waterlike, just a slight yellow tone, no head. Aroma of honey, flowers, peach, garden. Taste is garden flowers, honey, peach, apricot, light citrus, light acidic notes. Very light bodied for a mead, light carbonation. Light and easy drinking mead, not bad. 030312

On tap at the hay merchant. Pours a clear white gold with no head. The aroma is rice and nail polish. Thin mouthfeel with a very tart flavor with alcohol burn. Not much going on with this one.

on tap-pours an offwhite head with pink/red color. Aroma is sweet black raspberry. Taste follows.

Very little aroma, lightly floral. Crystal clear, extremely pale yellow, some carbonation. Apple, and lemon flavor finishes with honey. Drinks so much more like a cider I had o re-check the label several times. Who knew apricot + honey = apple?

Bottle @ home, courtesy of doodler. Huge thanks! Slightly violet, ruby appearance with no head. Strong dark berry, a touch boozy, light woody aroma. Somewhat syrupy mouth feel. Rich, dark berry, slightly woody, thick flavor. Pretty interesting.

Apple and honey nose, vague floral hints, not really berry-like. Rose colored, slight effervescent. Spritzy which detracts in this instance. Raspberry initially with a surge of honey at midpalate. Oddly bready in the finish. NIce transitions, but drinks like a wine cooler and doesn’t taste all that great.

Interesting aroma of stale grassy noble hops, hay, and of course honey. Very pale yellow, clear and still. Dry and light flavor initially, but the flavor of clover and honey , still dry, appears and gathers steam to a climactic finish. Soft carbonation. The intensity never gets there for me although the flavor is nice for a drier mead.

On tap at Falling Rock. Pours with a mostly clear golden body and no head. Some signs of carbonation. Aromas are fruity, juicy, alcohol and a waxy honey character. Flavors are estery, apple, grassy, vanilla, light apricot and some waxy notes. Extremely thin with a few stray bubbles. Not great. Some noticeable alcohol for what I assume is a pretty low ABV mead.

Bottle. Pours with a fading head surprisingly (clean glass) and a lot of pressure was released when the bottle was opened. Extremely pale, clear body. Minimal legs. Buttery honey wax comb aroma, some light cinnabun notes. Sticky fruit. Not getting much apricot. Wow, a carbonated mead (haven’t had a commercial example of such yet, outside of braggots). Some autolysis. Very dry, and light. Light fruity notes. Medium to high effervescence. Odd mead.

Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, y’know? Slight plastic aroma. Almost clear as water. Very easy and watery, just lovely and easy. Almost comes across like flat sweet cider. No hint of apricot or co2. This was fromthe bottom of the bottle and even tho the label says carbonated, I see why it is not. Very mild mellow mead drinken experience. Pretty good.

Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, y’know? Very clear. Like cider. Barely any yellow at all. Faint aroma of flowers. First taste says it is very low in alky, even watered down but I see the alky is high and it must hide it well. Easy going and mild on the tongue, even enjoyable. Goes down easy for a mead. Some plastic band-aid in the finsh, just barely.
