Bottle. Another carbonated mead from Redstone. Pours with a white head that falls over a pale ruby-red (think dark, dark Rose) body. No legs. Aroma of honey, and light tangy berry notes. What strikes the tongue first is the carbonation. Lively bubbles. Taste is sweet with berry and honey. Pretty basic with little depth. Highly carbonated and an oddly dry finish for a mead.

Very pale yellow color. Light aroma of strawberry jam and fresh blackberries; then some of the honey too. Medium sweet flavor; some honey, but a bit too alcoholic; a flowery touch and a very light fruity touch too; dry finish. Not too bad.

Bottle at Spuyten Duyvil, New York
Blond color; rare small foam crown. The aroma is interesting, flowery (orange blossom) and nutty (almonds). It’s lightly carbonated, not much sweet, with some apple flavor and not much honey. Also the bitterness and hopping are difficult to perceive. And the final reminds me carbonated apple juice. Not totally bad, but strange; it confirms that Redstone is not a top meadery.

Draught at Papago Brewing Co., Scottsdale, AZ
Very light color, just a pale yellow on the water. The aroma has both some honey and soap. It has some light carbonation, that makes it at the same time more drinkable and original among Meads; it’s medium dry, with flowery notes, some honey, light chamomile. Simple but not bad.

@RLRL with Orlando group-thanks to redlight and TheCheeseMan-750ml bottle-pours a white ring for a head and pale yellow color with effervescence. Aroma is mild sweet herbal, hop-perfumy. Taset is sweet herbal, hop-perfumy. Good effervescence. Best of everything I’ve had from Redstone.

Bottled on date of December 21, 2007. Pours with a slightly hazed gold body. Decent legs. Huge cinnamon aroma, a bit too big. Underneath vanilla and honey. Snikerdoodles. Sweet alcohol, cinnamon, vanilla. Interesting. A bit thin. Good but a little too much cinnamon.
