Aromas of pine, grass, resin, peach, tangerine and apple - it's a bit like a reisling with a yeasty, hoppy background. It has a soapy texture with tangerine, pine, and spearmint dominant - it's a very tart finish. It's got good length but my tongue almost ends up numb! It doesn't quite work, but I respect the effort.

On tap at Brother's Juke Joint. Pours black. Chocolate, milk, biscuit, raspberry. Full body. Really pretty good.

Tap at the Boilermaker House, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is dry roast malt, light nettle hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a malty, grassy hop, woody, light citrus fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. More like a black IPA than a stout.

Tap at the Boilermaker House, Melbourne. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, cacao, light woody hop, some light fruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a dry malt, light dry sweet chocolate, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average average carbonation.

Pours amber with a large lasting head.Nose shows heavy sweet clean malt, pine and resinous hops.Flavours include more heavy sweet malt and a bit of a grassy and resinous hop note. Very sweet.Carbonation is much too high.

On tap. Pours dark. Toast, oats, little plum. Quite bitter, not much sweetness. Body is a little thin for an oatmeal.

Pink Drink IPA from Funk Estate

Taster at GABS Auckland 2017. Pours orange. Grapefruit juice, grapefruit zest, lots of floral character, rose, numbing peppercorn stuff. Tingly and a little numbing on the tongue. A little bitter but with so much juicy grapefruit too. Delightful.
