Draft pour pint at Tipsy Cow. Continuing with the cooler day amber trend that I thought of about 20 minutes ago. Being in the mood for an amber or brown is rare for me, so I’m going to take advantage of the opportunity. Mostly clear bronze pour with a lasting rocky head. Nutty malt aroma. Has a noticeable bitterness up front with a bold nutty malt constant. Heavier hop bitterness makes this interesting. Nutty malt aroma makes this inviting. Non-sweet finish makes this different. Overall an enjoyable beer here.

On tap at OBF. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A citrus caramel nose. The flavor is oranges, some lemon zest, perfume, a light Munich earthy base. Solid.

Draft pour pint at The Game, as part of my pulling beers out of RB hiatus program. Pours a hazy copper golden color with a cream head. Soft dusty malt aroma. Easy drinking bitter here. Nutty malt. Cool, sort of dry finish. Slightly better than stadard for the style. Enjoyable beer here.

On tap. Pours brown with very light head. Aromas of candi sugar, grass and toasted malts. Flavors of sweet malts, dusty brown sugar, grass and copper. Nice.

On Tap at the Bellingham BP Slightly hazy dingy yellow color. Thin wispy white head Pale soft light grain aroma. Clean dry and fairly sharp flavors. Some character and bite for a Blonde. Less common for the style I think but good and a bit different

On Tap at the Bellingham BP Cloudy deep golden light tan with a fluffy full off white head. Soft earthy Belgian yeast aroma, lots of banana and a little of the spice classic of the style. Light in color but plenty of flavor and sweetness. Rather strong as well as there is a lingering ABV burn. Rich and tasty

On tap at Ray’s. Pours a clear yellow with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of grains and straw with a slight floral note underlying. Flavor has bread and grains throughout with a light floral note in the finish.

On tap at April Brews Day, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out Snapple-like peaches with a little ginger. Flavour is identical, with lots of artificial peaches, no ginger to be detected. One of Boundary Bay's shittiest beers. Terrible.

On tap at April Brews Day, pours black with almost no head. Aroma brings out bourbon barrels upfront, not really reminiscent of cheap JD shit. Flavour is more apparent on the cheap whiskey, with bourbon barrels dominating along with some faint vanilla and prominent alcohol. Hot and almost spicy on the finish, with a close to flat mouthfeel. Solid for what it is, despite the imperfections.
