Cloudy golden color. Aroma of glue, ethanol, cherries in brandy, hence a bit fruity. Medium sweetness (for a Mead), with a very nice touch of sweet herbs (like the Alpine herbs), a bit spicy and fruity. At the end the alcohol is very warming. It reminds me some Alpine herbs liquors, a bit more honeyish. Very good.

Brown color. The aroma is sweet, with some honey, but medicinal too, with some alcohol and caramel. Thick body, not oversweet, good flavor, well balanced by some herbal bitterness and by the alcohol warmth. Good.

(Bottle 25 cl) Clear, warm orangey brown. Spicy nose with honey and alcohol really shining through.. The mouthfeel is soft, lots of fruity accents, sweet honey and somewhat cough syrupy herbal. Some warming alcohol in the finish. 060807

Bottled. A hazy golden mead. The aroma is very spicy with strong notes of cinnamon, but also notes of honey and flowers. The flavor is sweet and very alcoholic, and very spicy - more like a bitter than a mead, leading to a dry end. Too much spiciness for my liking.

A pale mead, yellow color. The aroma, sweet, shows some light herbs (myrtle), some alcohol and very light phenols. Needless to say it’s very sweet, but it has a little wine character, a touch of grape acidity, very light myrtle and sometimes very light hazelnuts as well. Good.
