Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Sweaty stocky aroma. Taste not so bad. Sweaty salt-like as well, but then there are the classic saison flavours. Good one, not great though.

Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of dried fruits, roast, toffee, cocoa, some chocolate, slight coffee.
Taste follows this pretty much, with some more dark bread.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty, medium dry, a bit sweet, with dark bread, cocoa, some coffee, some dark fruits.
Tasty. Straight, but also a quite complex, with a really good balance between rostiness, sweetness and dryness. Definitely my favourite beer from this brewery so far and a very nice style example.

Orange-amber, hazy body, with a big, creamy, moderately lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of yeast, citr, orange, some pass fruit, some soap.
Taste follows this, with some more biscuit and even more soap notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, soapy, citric, a bit grassy, a bit sweet.
OK, but with soapy off-flavours unfortunately. Still quite refreshing. Overall my least favourite beer by this brewery so far.

0,1l on tap at Craft Beer Festival Graz as "Alefried Mikrozirkus 02 Ole Ale 8.3%" shared by Saeglopur, thanks. almost black color, small tan head. smells sour, spices, light smoke, very light sweetness, some green apples, some earthy notes, light funk. decent smell. full body, rather bubbly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes sourish, acidic, also light malty sweetness, some licorice, coffee, earthy notes. finishes with licorice and earthy notes. OK beer, the different notes (sweet / sour / earthy) dont blend together at all, so is a bit weird. Would not drink again.

0,1l on tap at Craft Beer Festival Graz as "Alefried Schlawiner 5.7%" shared by Saeglopur, thanks. orange very hazy color, small off-white head. smells spicy, peppery, light vegetables, light flowery / parfume. smell not very good, smells unclean. light to medium body, soft carbonation, rather light mouthfeel. tastes spices, light sweetness, a bit peppery, lightly of vegetables, some grass and herbs. finishes with spices and light grassy / herbal bitterness. OKish, both taste and smell are kinda unclean. not a fan.

Der Schlawiner hat auch ein niedliches Comic-Tier auf dem Etikett und ist auch sonst ein netter Zeitgenosse. Es ist ein wunderbar erfrischendes APA mit wunderbar grasigen Aromen. Hinten raus in bisschen Malz, aber nicht zu süß. So soll es sein.

Ein belgisch angehauchtes Ale mit einem hefigen Kern, der einige fruchtige Runden dreht. MIr war es zum Verkostungszeitpunkt etwas zu pilzig-hefig, aber heutzutage würde ich es wohl besser gefallen. Aromentechnisch ist es nett gestaltet, aber hinten raus wirkt es etwas flach.

0,33l on tap at Fassldippler, Vienna. amber light hazy color, medium big white head. smells of pines, light resin, quite fruity, light sweetness, some pineapple, light grapefruity. nice and clean fruity smell. full body, soft pearly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of banana, pines, resin, light grapefruit notes, light tobacco, some sweetness, light herbal, oranges. finishes with pines, light sweetness and oranges. nice one, taste gets a bit light on the finish & no bitterness to speak off, but overall nice fruity experience, good drinkability.

Tap at Salon piva. Ammber color with medium off-white head. Strong citrus hoppy aroma with oranges, tangerines, zest. Sweet taste in beginning following by citrus hoppy kick. Long hoppy bitter finish. Very good.
