Buy it in a cheap can from chalet to do tick. See the fairly clear slightly hazy pale beer with a nice white head. Smell the peach laced hop perfume. Taste the IPA bitterness. Note an artificial peach laced flavor. Try to prevent a gag reflex. Feel the mouth coating fairly flat palate. Observe that peach does not go well with a style you already detest. Force yourself to endure to the finish. Say blah many times during the experience. Be thankful the session is over. Look for a cold crisp macro pale lager for a chaser.

Bought locally, bottled February 16,2026.
Pours black with some red hues, small tan head of foam, short lasting, lacing not that good.
Smell is coffee grounds, dark chocolate, Bourbon, lots of alcohol here.
The taste is bitter coffee grounds, Bourbon, dark chocolate, not close to a smooth taste. Booze is also right there. Dang.
Light carbonation but that's okay. I would not drink this again but I have 3 more bottles.

12 oz. bottle. Pours black, with some floaters, and a small, tan head. The nose is butter toffee, toasted coconut, milk chocolate, hazelnut, and cloves. Sweet and sugary, with a light, nutty bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, and a bit grainy. Fun and decadent.

Pours black, medium sized , stable, off white head. Scent is fairly mild, some coffee, bit roast' barrels remain silent. Taste is surprisingly mild, chocolate, some coffee. Roast. Very remote varrel aspects (vanilla) smooth and silky body. Nothing extreme, rven a bit dull given it's style and ABV if i'm being honest. Still, enjoyable.

Appearance: golden to bronzed orange color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet apples, some pears, crushed cloves, subtle banana-like esters, subtle floral hoppy tones, light candied dark fruits
Flavor: seems to combine the prior noted flavors to a semi-sweet to lightly spiced character; finishes like candied apples with some cloves and floral hop qualities
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards the sipping side; some spicy harshness on the tongue but nothing overly bearing
Overall: to be honest, I don't see this as a true Belgian Tripel, there's something good here because what I had seemed to fit and blend well, maybe add a real Belgian yeast to this and possibly rework the recipe a bit and this could end up being a real Belgian styled gem.

Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass with a thin wisp of off-white foamy head which slid off at a nice pace to barely leave any lace
Aroma: caramel malts up front, some salt, dark chocolate, subtle milk chocolate, light vanilla-ish wafer-like tones
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together fairly sweet with a touch of the salt in there for balance; finishes caramelly and salty
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; some salty vibes dry out the tongue slightly but nothing overly done
Overall: mostly good pastry impy stout I believe I could have another.

Flavor: leans towards the bitter side at first then seems to go to the sweet side then eventually seems to combine to a bittersweet tone; light finish of the resinous pine and caramel malts
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards the sipping side; some dryness on the tongue; light bitterness harshness
Overall: it's a Midwest IPA, in other words an old school-ish type. I don't mind this for me but the kids these days won't like it.

Flavor: combines all the prior noted aromas together semi-sweet with a great roasty contour balancing the flavor; mildly finishes with the sweetness of the cherries and a touch of dark chocolate
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper!; some dryness on the tongue with light tart harshness from the cherries
Overall: super love the fact that the tartness of the cherries are not overpowering and that this beer maintained it's stout qualities.

Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together in a sweet and roasty fashion; nicely finishes like drinking a liquified oatmeal raisin cookie
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper!; some dryness on the tongue but nothing distracting, light smoothness
Overall: a very nicely done impy pastry stout, I'd return to since I'm a fan of oatmeal raisin cookies.
