Bottle [from trade with Slaktmasken] @ home. Opaque pitch black color, full sized dark brown head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, coffee, lightly earthy and a nice amount of chocolate. Taste malts, roast, lightly coffee, coffee roast, a hint of wood and pretty bitter. Oily texture, medium body and suitable carbonation. Well this is a big surprise but a real nice one. What a surprise!

Bottle [from trade with Slaktmasken, thanks!] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Lightly hazy orange color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is lightly malts, nicely hoppy, fruit hops, lightly grapefruit. Taste is virtually equal: lightly malts, very hoppy, fruity, fresh an crisp with a light bitterness. Lovely pale ale.
