Draught at the brewpub. Weak spicy aroma. Clear golden colour. Nice stable white head. The flavour is subtle with a little nice hop spiciness. Finishes with a fresh bread note, some chalk, and slightly watery. Good and clean.

Herb-malziger Antrunk mit komischem hohlen Beiton. Hell, hopfig, sehr getreidig, aber nicht wirklich nach einem Bock. Im Abgang deutlich weniger malzig. Test vom 9.1.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 13,9,10,5,-,8 - 8,52

On draught at the brewery: Hazy, orangey coloured, quite firm off-white head, shy yeasty-fruity (oranges) nose; light sweetish, very light sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; faint sweetish-sourish and yeasty finish. Another bland & boring fizz made by Weissbräu..........

On tap at the brewpub: Hazy, very deep reddish-amber coloured, firm and stable off-white head, drier dark-malty and fruity nose with a tinge of yeast; light, very light sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied as well; some fruity traces in the yeasty and very faint dark-malty finish. Yawn...........

Draught at the brewpub. The appearance is amazing - Dark brown topped with a stable, creamy, brown head that refuses to leave. It looks like good-looking heads are the brewery’s specialty. Anyway, the aroma is roasty and quite weak and the flavor is roasty, malty, and rather sweetish. Medium-bodied. Overall too simple. Too bad such an amazing looking beer has such a mediocre flavor. Still an OK beer I guess.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange with a stable off white head. Aroma is a bit unusual for a weissbier, it’s wheaty and fruity but without any banana, has some sweet spices other than clove, and has some peach as well. Flavor is sweet, fruity and a bit spicy. A bit watery. Not a very good weissbier but still quite refreshing.

(Draugt at Weissbräu, Köln) Served in a stein, so making out the color is somewhat difficult. White to tan head. Fruity and citrus scent. Rather thin mouthfeel. Weak fruity taste. Their kölsch is amazing at Weissbräu, this beer however, is not. (The beer is called "Pantaleons Schwarze" at the brewery)

(Draught at Weissbräu, Köln) Shady orange color, big white fluffy head. Both scent and taste are surprisingly neutral. A bit fruity. Medium bitterness, though higher than normal for a weiss. If you’re having only one beer at this place, have thier kölsch instead!
