On tap at Strange Fellows, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pretty funky, with stinky feet, herbal notes and brett funk. Flavour is fairly filthy, with brett funk, stinky feet, cheese and some light bittering hops screaming through. Not very refined or clean. This either needs some time or some tweaking. Okay.

Draft, Boxcar. I like this one for the same reasons I liked their other white IPAs - it’s mostly just hoppy. Light spice and esters, but there’s a solid pale malt backbone, a little more yeastiness than average, and a lot of tasty hops and ample bitterness.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy red with pinkish white head. Bland wheat brightened up by mild raspberry. Quick finish.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pods a hazy orange with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of tart oranges, light wild funk and a tannic character. Flavour is tart, with tannins, orangey tartness and light bready caramel malt. Quite strange - the souring component is pretty subtle, though the wild tannic qualities are more pronounced. Not bad.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours an opaque bright pinkish red with a small pink head. Nose brings out loads of fresh sweetened raspberries. Flavour is pretty much the same, with lots of fresh raspberries dominating the palate. Medium sweetness but no where close to cloying. Simple beer but done very well. Enjoyable stuff.

Growler. Amber and cloudy. Kind of a biscuity, light yeasty aroma. Has a light tartness, vaguely pearlike fruitiness. Yeasty and muddled overall, sort of directionless.
