(Can, 0.5l, thanks Arde, at VastActiv, 20240112) The beer poured dark brown. Its head was tiny and lightly brown. Aroma had toasted malts, burnt sugar and vinous notes. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt sugar, vinous notes, toasted malts, vanilla, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Different. Easy to drink.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grapefruit, tart fruits, resin, pine, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A delicious hoppy brew.

From a 375 ml can on 10/1/2024. Pour an ever so slightly hazy with a smallish head. Has a distinct sharp citrus nose. Has some big citrus and stone fruit sweetness up front, which is met by a big resinous tongue coating finish, with a hint of sour at the back. Not very out creamy mouthfeel wise, with average carbonation. This is an odd one. On first sip I was thinking it was no good, but it grew on me as I consumed. Definitely interesting but use a bit more balance.
