Tap at the brewery. Cloudy golden orange color with lace. Big hop nose, peaches, oranges, biscuity malt. Great fruit flavor, orange sorbet. Nice beer, though hops seem to have faded just a bit.

Tap into a shaker showing half finger of clean white foam and a moderatelu filtered dark caramel orange. The nose shows a hop forward light pineapple. The palate is lightly carbonated with a similarly light body. A well hopped fruit forward, a light tea like astringency throughout, malts on the mid-palate, and a traditional ESB bitterness on the finish. A modern and extremely well done take on an ESB

This one is back in a new batch for 2016 as well. Tap at DC Hama. Earthy nose with some grass, pine and light pineapple. Taste is fairly dry and bitter on the palate. Body seems a little thin, but very quaffable. Dry, bitter earthy finish. Some minerals in there as well. Not bad. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kirameki IPA (煌きIPA) on 29 Feb 2016 at 18:08 - Score: 7. Original review text: Tasty if not straightforward IPA

Tap at Watering Hole. Caramel, weed and light roasted coffee notes with more pine and dank as it warms. Average carbonation with a medium body. Bone dry on the palate with a slight toasted caramel flavor but dominated by piney, grassy, dank hops. Earthy with a bit of pine and orange. Finish is dry and dank. Solid hoppy brown. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hop Drug -Brown Ale- on 26 Feb 2016 at 19:12 - Score: 7. Original review text: Dry, bitter quite a bit like herbal medicine in a good way ;)

Re-rate: Tap at Craft Heads Y. Market tap-takeover. More dekopon on the nose this time. Cocoa powder dryness is still there. Tang element is gone and seems more like a dried orange zest character. Good Belgian yeasty dryness with bitterness on the finish. Not sweet on the palate at all. Very nice and original fruited Belgian dark ale. Tap at Watering Hole. Pours a hazy dark brown with a tiny head. Lots of cocoa powder in the nose with some light coffee notes. The Dekopon really comes out on the palate as a tangerine-like sweet citrus...actually it’s more like the powdered drink TANG and comes off a little artificial. Some Belgian yeast flavor towards the finish. Very interesting take on a fruit/ Belgian IPA hybrid. --- Beer merged from original tick of Decorian (デコリアン) on 19 Feb 2016 at 21:16 - Score: 7. Original review text: Belgian style with lots of chocolate on the nose. Lots of dekopon flavor too. A tad too sweet though....great carbonation.
