Handpump at Gremlin. Deep gold to light amber with almost no head. Faint aromas of orange, grapefruit zest, pine, grass and wood. Medium body with little carbonation. As it warms the flavors become more pronounced. Dry and bitter finish. Almost like a bitter on handpump. Not bad. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kutsurogi Pale Ale on 25 Dec 2015 at 19:54 - Score: 7

On tap at Kamikaze. Y market Meitei King Imperial Stout 12.7% It pours s pitch black with a tan head & a roasty chocolate syrup and marshmallow aroma. Full bodied with a scratchy carbonation and a fairly luscious mouthfeel. The taste has a wine-like fruitiness, dark chocolate, marshmallow, figs/candied fruits with a big amount of malty heat burning down your throat. Good stuff, though this monster beer KOed me.

Tap at Gremlin. Fairly clear gold with a small white head. Big citra nose with grapefruit, iyokan and light gooseberry. Light biscuit malts, but the body is quite light for the abv. Above average carbonation, but not overdone. Super juicy citrus flavors on the palate, make up for the light body. Nice crisp and lightly dry finish. Extremely crushable. This is Y. Market playing to their strengths. --- Beer merged from original tick of Holy Citra!!! on 18 Dec 2015 at 21:22 - Score: 8

Y Market Smoke N Dark 7.4% 27.4 IBU On tap at Bungalow. This Imperial Smoked Porter is a dark cola brown pour with red accents in the light and a 1cm fizzy beige head. It's got a luscious toasted oats, roast & chocolate malt aroma with mild hints of smoke. Med-light bodied, the flavor is bitter chocolate, roastiness & toasted nuts in the finish. Quite good but considering the prominent Smoke in the name I was expecting more smokiness. It mostly comes out in the finish as smoked ham & liquid smoke but it's very subtle. I need to let it warm up - could be stuffy nose though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Watering Hole. Deep brown with almost no head. Smoked malt aroma with light bacon, chocolate, grass and light orange citrus. Average carbonation with a medium to medium light body. Doesn’t feel heavy or overbearing at all and quite smokey for a Japanese smoked beer. Nice roasty bacon finish with a nice cured ham and honey with orange that lingers. Solid. --- Beer merged from original tick of Smoke’n DARK on 07 Dec 2015 at 19:09 - Score: 7

Tap at Watering Hole. Hazy, glowing gold with a thin white head that lingers. White grapefruit and lemon zest on the nose with some light pepper and crackery malt. Active carbonation that really scrubs the palate. More pithy bitterness and lemon zest. Crisp and dry finish that lingers. Super refreshing. Not really a Kolsch, but wonderful. --- Beer merged from original tick of IRODORI Kölsch on 07 Dec 2015 at 19:07 - Score: 8

Tap at Komachi. Bright gold, hazy to cloudy, low head. Lemony hop nose, medium malt, light biscuit. Crisp light malt flavor, a bit of biscuit and cracker. Light, with a nice bit of acidity. Good bitterness. Very much a new world interpretation.
