Tap at Wiz. Slightly hazy gold with a huge soapy head that lasts almost throughout. Wonderful saison yeast-like nose with a very bright fruit bouquet: pineapple, orange, lemon zest, apricot and persimmon. Active carbonation with a medium body that is very refreshing. Maybe a hair too sweet on the palate, but just a tad. Dry and crisp finish with some light pepper and ginger. Tap at Wiz. Lightly hazy copper with a one-finger soapy off-white head that lingers. Dry yeast nose with some light funk (bret?), pine and dried apricot. Medium body with medium to soft carbonation. Tap at Bungalow. Cloudy, dark gold, with lace. Big fruity hop nose, citrus, tropical fruits, very nice. Biscuity flavor, crackers too, orange and grapefruit, peach. Crisp and full. Great.

Tap at CBM Koenji. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a nice one-finger head of foam. Citrus forward aromas with some mango and passionfruit along with some crackery notes. Dry and crisp on the palate with lots of tropical fruit lingering. Finish is medium bitter with nice crackery and peppery flavor that lingers. Another classic from Y. Tap at Komachi. Orange-gold, cloudy, medium height bubbly head. Fruity, estery nose, Belgian yeast, lots of orange and apricot, lemon, touch of pineapple. Yeast flavor, a bit sweet, very fruity, with a well bitter finish. A touch dirty as well. Full, smooth, somewhat oily body. Good.

Y Market Table Pils 5.5% Contract brewed at Gotemba Kogen I believe. This bottle was picked up at Yamaoka-Saketen. A fizzy gold with a white head that leaves some soapy lacing. Sweet tropical fruit hoppiness in the aroma. Light bodied with a very scratchy carbonation. The taste is sweet fruity hops: peach, citrus and a dash of spice. Pretty nice.

Tap at Komachi. Cloudy golden orange, medium head. Big hop nse, citrus, dankness, tropical fruits, clean, cracker malts. Fruity hops, mango, apricot, orange, grass, biscut malt. Bit sweet, but crisp and nicely bitter with a good peppery finish. Rich, crisp, very good.

Y Market Izutsu Grape Ale 5% A light cloudy gold with a white waxy grape aroma. Medium-light bodied with a raspy carbonation. The taste is more bitter than I expected with a tannic woodsy quality, like the grape stem, then a bit of juicy grape flavor. Decent.

On tap at Craft Beer Holiday. Y Market Distortion W-IPA 9.3% A fairly clear gold with a foamy beige head. The nose is musty dank resinous hops. Med-full bodied with a raspy mouthfeel. The taste is great malty sweet with a piquante woodsy pine hoppiness and some alcohol heat. Best from Y Market at Craft Beer Holiday.

Tap at Craft Beer Holiday. Pale yellow, cloudy. Slightly funky hop nose from teh Mosaic. Dry, crackery wheat. Dry flavor, crackers, nice hoppy edge, a bit dank. Nice and easy, really good for summer.
