Y Market Izutsu Grape Ale 5% A light cloudy gold with a white waxy grape aroma. Medium-light bodied with a raspy carbonation. The taste is more bitter than I expected with a tannic woodsy quality, like the grape stem, then a bit of juicy grape flavor. Decent.

On tap at Craft Beer Holiday. Y Market Distortion W-IPA 9.3% A fairly clear gold with a foamy beige head. The nose is musty dank resinous hops. Med-full bodied with a raspy mouthfeel. The taste is great malty sweet with a piquante woodsy pine hoppiness and some alcohol heat. Best from Y Market at Craft Beer Holiday.

On tap at Craft Beer Holiday. Y Market Delay IPA 5.5% It pours a cloudy honey-gold with a nice looking foamy head. A piquante bitter citrus hop bouquet greats your olfactory nerves while your tastebuds are tantalized by dark earthy/woodsy notes contrasting with bright sparkly citrus. Solid.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clear gold with a fine white head that lasts throughout. Lemon, white grapefruit, cracker aroma with some light butter. Taste is crisp and dry with some light grain sweetness. The diacetyl was present, but didn’t seem that noticeable, even as it warmed. Crisp and dry finish, but maybe would like a little more pepper I guess. Not bad at all though. --- Beer merged from original tick of Table Pils on 26 Sep 2015 at 23:05 - Score: 7

Fall Keyaki 2015. Slightly hazy copper with a nice cream colored head. Malty nose with some plum and raisin coming through. A little bit of grass and hay that really takes it to the next level. This is probably the first altbier I can say I have enjoyed. --- Beer merged from original tick of Yanagase Chronicle (柳ヶ瀬クロニクル) on 21 Sep 2015 at 12:59 - Score: 7

Fall Keyaki 2015. Gold with a small white head. Big tropical fruit nose. Lots of papaya, mango and fresh citrus. Surprisingly light body for the style. Not overly sweet or malty at all. Just enough backbone to keep it all together. The hops really shine in this Imperial IPA...very west coast influenced and well-done. Great bitter finish! One of the best beers at Keyaki this fall. --- Beer merged from original tick of Distortion IPA on 21 Sep 2015 at 13:06 - Score: 8
