Draft at the Hanoi taproom. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is big passionfruit, light vanilla. The flavour is moderate to light sour and sweet, with a crisp, juicy, light tart passionfruit palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. After the previous review I wasn’t sure whether to order this at all, but it was fine. I think the brewery has a problem with their bottling line and I would not buy any of their bottled products. Anyway, it was a fairly simple beer. Passionfruit from beginning to end.

Draft at the Hanoi taproom. Poured a mostly clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is creamy vanilla. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, mineral, big sweet vanilla palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. It’s all about the vanilla. Super sweet and ok in small quantities but would soon become sickly.

The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, somewhat light, fresh, light toffee, mineral, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Light and refreshing. A fine session ale.

Bottle at the Hanoi brewpub. Poured a a slightly hazy golden colour with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is crushed apple. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a crisp, fresh, herbal, light vanilla palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not a bad cider actually. Sweet but not overly sweet.

The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, herbal, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
