I had no idea there was a brewery in Takatsuki so finding this on tap at Bungalow was quite a surprise, In a good way. It is a nice malty beer with a good amount of sweetness & a great golden color. Well done.

Bottled. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Aroma of winegum and barnyard. Dryish with lihght body: Slightly lemony with a character more leaning towards Gose than Kölsch.

Bottled. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Fruity cellar aroma. Minerals and plastic. Sweetish with light body, some caramel before a tinny finish with low bitterness.

Draught at Q-Brick. They have really sorted this one out. Crisp and tasty with nice hops and a hint of the sake coming through. Good stuff. Draught at the Great Japan Beer Festival, Osaka, 2011. 2.7 Cloudy golden color, looks ok. Lemony, honey aroma, a little tangy. Sweet flavor, grass, lemon. Interesting, but a bit of a sake flavor, but too sweet and not as good as their brown.

Draught. They say the base is the same as the Marihana Brown, but without the added sake and hops. I could barely recognize any similarity at all. Dull, faint aroma with a bit of caramel and some veggies. Vegetal and mineral flavor with a bit of caramel and wood. Not very nice.

Draught at Eni-bru, Osaka. Clear brownish amber. Citric hoppy nose. Dryish and light bodied where slight caramel hides under citric hops. Fresh and drinkable with vital, well rounded body and low bitterness.

Bottle. Dark amber to medium brown. Tall, fine head. Faint aroma, of fruit, amber malt, caramel. Good hops. Very fruity flavor, with cherries, a touch of caramel and chocolate. Medium sweetness. Slightly roasted, amber malt, overall impression is dry. Dry, malt and slight hop finish. Pretty nice. One of the better Japanese alt beers, though not up there with the best in Dusseldorf.

Medium golden color, tall, fine head, just a touch cloudy. Faint aroma of light malt and ok hops. Malt is warm and slightly sweet, a bit grainy and fruity. Mellow, round flavor and mouthfeel. Buttery, caramel, some fruit—melon? Mild hops. Smooth and refreshing, though nicely balanced and rich. Not immediately recognizeable as Koelsch, Not really outstanding, but solid and interesting enough.

Draft at Q-Brick. Dry or wet hopped with Shinshu Wasei hops. Great hop aroma, sweet malts, flavor of sake and rice as well. Very interesting and original. Comes across as a slightly strange combination, but it works well, and these hops are kicking it in.
