A bit dirty yeasty, has orchard fruits, sweeter with a muddier yeast note. Dull tan, not much head. Actually quite salty.

@ Ushi Tora, Shimokitizawa. Has an earthy nose, almost a noble hop flavour, a lot of toasty malts, taking it back to the 90s. Ok. Looks poor, though, very dull light brown and murky, not even in the modern ipa way, either.

Hazy dull tan. Very bright, appetizing aroma, floral, deep citrus. Light body, bitter grapefruit and quite refreshing, the malts just barely there.

Hazy tan. Thin head. Aroma is pretty hoppy, passion fruit, pear, overripe peach. Has a fair bit of bitterness, citrus, a nice old school IPA. Malts are pale, biscuity.

Tap at Kamikaze. Deep gold. Citrus and peach in the nose, with booze. A bit sweet, a bit boozy too, nice citrus and tropical fruit flavor. Finishes dry and hot. Interesting and not so sweet for such a big beer.

My Gose of the day is one I heard raves about from Keiyaki. Ushitoraβs Sour of Love Gose 4.5% A cloudy gold with a great tart spicy wheat aroma. The taste is like a tart weizen with cloves & wheat combined with tart orange/tangerine. A very drinkable and approachable Gose. Seek it out while you can.Β As I drink it I start getting a tart orange creamsicle vibe from it. I really like it more and more and honestly wish Iβd ordered a pint.

Tap at Watering Hole. Big stinky tropical hop nose with lots of orange zest. Average carbonation with a medium body. Slightly grainy but it does just enough to let the hops shine without being too watery for 3.9 ABV. So drinkable and really refreshing. Nice slightly bitter finish with more citrus. Tap at Watering Hole. kaffir lime nose with lots of zest and limeade notes. Quite cocktail-like on the palate. Body feels too light and thin with the alcohol too noticeable as well. I like the kaffir lime flavors though. Maybe lower the abv and up the malt percentage. Tap at Vector Factory. Deep golden color, clear, low, fine head. Deep malt flavor, rich, nice fruit, tropical, peaches. rich malt flavor, really nice stone fruits. Very bitter. Full, nice body, not too sweet or syrupy. Good peaches and apricot. Like it.
