Lemon, leafy, green. Light bitterness. Alright!

super pepperminty nose, very clean and floral. Nice toasted malt backbone, light body, crisp bitterness and peppermint everywhere. Can’t say I love the hop with the style but it’s well made and I love the malt character that totally shines.

Tap at ibrew. Ultra pale, loads of salt, feels like Margerita-style round the rim. Wheaty and with a bit of the Belgian Kyoto character in the background. Hint of lemon. Not so good. Bit of a mess.

Tap at Olive. Aroma of rich tropical fruit, plastic and cream. Taste is nice, light sourness, oranges. Hardly any saltiness. Good but preferred the hoppy gose.

Tap at Olive. Light caramel, citrus is there but not so buchi. Classic ushitora mediocrity.

Keyaki. Wow! Aroma is twiggy, citrus, salt, lime. Great. Margarita salt round the rim thing. Hoppy, citrus, salt, light maltiness. Good stuff!

Can't remember where I had this. Maybe CBM in Sendai. Anyway, watery, aroma has some citrus, shandy like. Taste is lemon. Light bitterness. No body. Like a watered down shandy.

Tap at Craftbeer Creek. Coffee or toffee? Difficult to tell. Some sweetness hint of coffee, bit of cola, some roast. Not much aroma at all. Fizzy in the mouth. Bland in the extreme. Not sure why I am surprised.

Tap at Taiyo. Alright, quite malty, biscuit, light lemon, bit of pineapple, grassy. Touch low on excitement, but alright. Bit of caramel. Kind of thin.

Tap at the fest. Big medicinal aroma, spice, clove, deep heat. Taste is good initial pink grapefruit then fades to spice. Not much saison character in there for me. Maybe influenced by US saison rather than Belgian stuff.
