Tap at KBL. Shiny black. Nose is cherry, vanilla, chocolate. Flavor is a bit tart with cherries, but other wise quite sweet with chocolate and vanilla. A bit too sweet and additive-driven for me but decent.

Tap at KBL. Hazy golden color. Nose is ume plums, lemon, crackers. Crisp and tart, lemony, umeboshi, salty. Like this a lot.

Tap at KBL. Cloudy deep golden. Citrus, juicy aroma, herbal or resiny. Sweet, citrus, resins in a rather bitter way overlapped with lactose sweetness. This doesn't work for me.

Tap at KBL. Pretty reddish brown. Big malty nose, bread, caramel, chocolate, citrus and resinous hops. Malt on this one is delicious, very rich and bready but not super sweet, not syrupy. Great hops too. It’s got the look of a hazy brew with a milky orange gold color. The aroma is woodsy citrus that verges on juice. The taste is more complex and bitter than I expect from the style with green herbal elements. Quite bitter but tasty.

Muddy brown with no head and a fragrant hop bouquet. Medium to full body and nice citrusy tang from the hops but enough malt backbone to please.

Kyoto Beer Lab Red Light Runner 6.2% 47 IBU Lovely reddish brown pour with a fruity aroma and a medium body. Very well balanced with toasted biscuit notes, some pepperiness and a fruity hop bite. Very quaffable.

Kyoto Beer Lab x Two Rabbits x Outsider Blackbeard’s Booty Pastry stout Made with home made rum raisins, the pitch black beer with a rusty tan head has a rich rum raisin aroma and lots of toasty caramel. It has a nice filling body And luscious sweet flavor with rhum raisin and lots of chocolatey goodness. I may have messed up and this triple collab was with Two Rabbits not KBC...

Tap. Pitch black, shiny, with a bit of lace. Nose is rum, raisin, coconut, chocolate. Rich and big nose. Sweet rum and coconut, raisin, chocolate. Tasty. Sweet but not cloying. Seems light. Good in small quantities.

Tap at KBL. Dark brown,hazy, with lace. Nose is caramel and raisins. Flavor sa lty caramel, raisins, light roast, fruity notes. Full but not heavy. Nice.
