Tap at Takumiya. Cloudy, deep orange, with lace. Somewhat earthy, spicy flavor, grapefruit, a bit of cat piss. Crisp, crackery malt. Good enough but the hop is a bit bland.

Tap at DC Hamamatsu. Hazy, deep gold with a low, thick head. Spicy citrus nose, grapefruit, pepper, tropical fruits like passion fruit and papaya. Elegant. Huge tropical fruit flavor, mango, passionfruit, wow. Mildly bitter, peppery, spicy finish. Tingly. Tropical candy sweetness finishes dry. Not syrupy. Great stuff that completely lived up to the hype. Knee Deep territory here.

Light amber color. A tropical fruit lollipop in the nose that is heavenly. A bit too grainy in the mouth and it really loses the tropical fruit notes. Mouth and nose are very different. Really goes downhill in the mouth. Modestly bitter

very pale golden color. Very clean hoppy dry nose. Very very grapefruity. Like biting into a white grapefruit that full of bitterness in the mouth. The hops really shine, but I found the malt bill I didn’t fit my liking. However the finishing isn’t as aggressive as I expected.

rocky white head. Dry very hoppy nose with tons of pink grapefruit. Easy drinking modestly aggressive bitterness. Way too similar to the fuku ha naka except a lager. I do prefer this though slightly.

deep golden color. Creamy white head. The nose is a schooling of hoppy goodness that brings me back to my childhood of orange flavor lollipop, cotton candy, pink grapefruit, leafy fairly sweet. Heavenly. Medium full body, low carbonation. Modest bitterness. Super quaffable. The orange lollipop shines with the pink grapefruit. Damn. So well integrated and put together. Drinks like 6.5% . Holy shit this is good. Now I know why Onidentetsu gets its rep

Tap at Bungalow. A brassy gold with a thick creamy looking dense head. A fruity peppery hop bouquet. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Fruity (stone fruit, guava and prickly pear), pine and sweet. This is damn good.

Tap at Bungalow. Setsubun beer! Clear gold, great juicy hop bouquet (yum), light bodied with a very dry finish. Earthy fruit flavor, a touch woodsy but crisp clean and refreshing. Solid but the demon wins hands down.

Tap at Komachi. Clear gold, effervescent, thick, low head. Bright and clean nose of citrus and herbs, biscuit or crackers. Crispa dn clean and hoppy, light biscuity malt, crackers. Very bitter, quite light and dry. Good.
