Tap at Burger Mania Ebisu. Nice tropical nose with citrus forward notes and light biscuity malts. Medium body with average carbonation. Very crushable. The nose seems to get better as it time goes by. Some pineapple and mango notes come out as it warms. Nice fruity and bitter finish. Tap at Watering Hole. Murky deep golden orange with lots of pulp. Sweet mikan-like nose with some light grapefruit and pine hop notes as it warms. Sweet, slightly tart and bitter on the palate. Lots of sweet kiyomi, but zesty and pithy bitterness balance out well. Bittersweet finish. Juicy. Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a hazy ruby red grapefruit color. Lovely wild strawberry nose with some light grain and a slight Belgian funky yeast. Average carbonation with a medium body. Slightly grainy mouthfeel. Well-balanced. The strawberry is well-done without being overly sweet. Very mild actually. The Belgian yeast twist is nice. Fairly dry finish. Very well-balanced, if not a tad too malty. Fairly crisp finish, but the mosaic was kind of disappointing. Light body but balanced with some malt. Average carbonation. Lightly tart finish with big raspberry flavors. Very nice fruit beer.
