Tap at Watering Hole. Clear gold with no head. Light grass notes with some resin and pine needles. Medium to soft carbonation with lots of woodsy, grassy notes. Tap at Bungalow. Dry, crisp nose, grapefruit, crackers, lemon. Medium gold, hazy, with lace. Nice and dry, fruity flavor, citrus. Light, crisp, and good. Better than some of the others lately.

Tap at Burger Mania. Clear gold with a small white head. Aromas of orange zest, citrus, grass and honey. Well-balanced with a nice floral honey-like sweetness under the light bitter finish. Tap at Komachi. Dry and crackery nose, lemon and grapefruit. Nice grapefruity flavor, dry malt, crisp and very quaffable.

Can from Isetan’s Hokkaido Fair. It is a deep reddish brown with an enticing malty aroma that gives stone fruits, peach, chocolate - kind of reminds me of a Fruit & Nuts Cadbury I had the other day. Medium-light bodied with a slightly raspy mouthfeel. The taste is pretty good sweet dark bready caramel and fruits. Pretty good.

On tap at Beer Cellar Sapporo. Clear gold with a soft white head. Big aromas of tropical fruit, pear and melon with some crackery notes. Light to medium body with nice carbonation. Taste is more of the same with the tropical fruit and pear really standing out. Nice crisp finish that is refreshing and lingers. So good.

On tap at BB North Island. Clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Aromas of grain, crackers with some light grass and fruit esters. Taste is more of the same with nice balance. Tap at bunbalow. Deep shiny gold, hazy, with a low, fine head. Lemony, grassy nose with crackery malt. Crisp and refreshing, quite dry. Hops are not huge or so fragrant, but it is good drinking stuff.
