Draft at DC Hamamatsucho. This Amber IPA was copper colored with a resinous pine aroma. The flavor was quite malty with honey, tobacco, biscuit and a sweet hoppiness. Nice.

A honey brown pour with a toffee malty aroma with citrus notes. Medium bodied, raspy carbonation and a very dry finish. The taste gives you toffee/coffee and citrus. Alright but my favorite was the C3PA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Boxing Day Brunch at Devil Craft Hamamatsucho! This is their C3PA Pale Ale batch #14 made with Simcoe, Amarillo & Mosaic hops. 6% It pours a matte gold with an off-white head of foam. Great hop bouquet featuring mango, passionfruit, citrus & pine. Medium to full bodied with a fairly dry finish. The taste is quite bitter, citrus rind & pine bark. Very good especially considering they’ve been brewing less than 6 months I believe.

Big caramel backbone, big fresh piney hop character and fairly aggressive bitterness. This is a big bad ass beer that is fantastic

Tap into a shaker showing moderate filtration, sparse white foam and tanned honey tones. The nose shows moderately intense tropical notes of mango and pineapple. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. The first impression is an explosive greeting of the same tropical fruit forward notes into a slightly sharp IPA bitterness. Well supported malt backbone to reflect the Pale Ale style throughout although the hopping and bitterness are dangerously close to an IPA. Regardless of such, great drinking and easily one of the best Pale Ales I’ve had.

Dark brown color, light brown head. Very nice chocolate cake nose with subtle roastiness. Fairly dry. Very smooth chocolately mouth, not sweet. Very nice depth. Lingering brownies in the finish. Excellent example of the style.

very big dry hopped nose. Very heady. Lovely. Lots of tea, citrus, thin-ish body, but enough to balance. Lots of tangy mandarin notes at the end. Quaffable. Very nice pale ale.
