Can shared at the Fat Cow, Bangkok. Poured a clear medium to dark brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, yoghurt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich, mineral metallic, sweet toffee caramel palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Golden and clean. Not much foam. Very malty grainy nose, bit of herbal hop feel to it. Taste is strong, malty and we’ll, not that crisp. Not bad either but reminds me these Latvian traditional brews - ones that do only a few lagers and we’ll, not that great ones. For omiyage beer, not too awful.

Seasonal beer, on tap ar the brewery. Very light gold, head turned to lace after five minutes. Sweet aroma of rancid butter. Strange flavor of medicinal herbs, steel, light fruit. Not very beer-like at all. Hoppy, bitter finish that is very metallic. Tastes unfinished, unripe, and quite probably spoiled. I normally wouldn’t include this rating at all, thinking the beer a mistake, but since Martin T had a similar experience a year before me, obviously this is how they intend to make this crap.

On tap at the brewery. Dark gold with a touch of orange. Fine head, turning to lace. Malty, slightly buttery aroma. Rich malt flavor, with butter, hops, fruit -- maybe plums? And some metal or flint. Dry and fruity. Dry finish with okay hops. Not bad. The aftertaste is a bit too strange, but the aroma and flavor are quite good.

Tap at the brewhouse. Light golden color, tall fine head. Slightly cloudy. Huge carbonation. “Kristal Klar” type. Slightly rancid aroma with wheat malt, banana, cloves, and butter -- too much butter. Light body, lightish flavor, clean and crisp with good wheat malt, fruit, banana, and spice. Best of the lot, despite the slightly odd aroma.

On tap at the brewhouse. Medium brown with amber and orange. Nice, fine, frothy head. Not much of a nose! Aroma of slightly roasted malt, with some caramel. Also slightly metallic. Light dark malt flavor, very light. Subtle caramel/chocolate, but too light. Also slightly metallic tasting.

Same color as baked beans. Smells like baked beans. Lots of dyctyles. Wow, this sucks.
