Opaque, tannish yellow…like a supermarket onsen egg. Good taste has lots of weedy hop and solid balance.

Slight haze, thin head, pale amber colour. Orangey, piney aroma. Mellow for the style, moderate bitterness, good balance, fresh citrusy hops.

Not a ton of noble hops but they are there at least. Golden pour with ok initial head. Not as crisp as the best of style. Golden pour with good head. Tap at airport brewhouse in Edmonton.

On tap at Banded Peak, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast, dark dried fruits, and earthy hops - little burnt. Flavour is very harsh, with lots of dark dried fruits, burnt roast, and earthy notes. Harsh and burnt. Not very elegant. Needs work.

On tap at Banded Peak, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp grassy notes and biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp, with grassy hops, straw and crisp crackery malt. Crisp and clean, but with little depth. Under-hopped. It's okay.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour with a medium, foamy, long lasting white head that laces. Mild aroma of crackery pale malt, grass and a hint of citrus. Sweet flavour of crackery pale malt, grapefruit and grass in a dry, mild bitter, piney hop finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and definitely crushable. A great summer beer for out on the deck.
