355ml can. Pours a very hazy pale straw colour with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves patchy lacing. Sour aroma of grainy pale malt, funky yeast, grapefruit rind and piney hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, grapefruit rind, lemon, musty yeast and piney hops with a crisp, dry, sour lacto finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing, a great summer beer.

Can thanks to Tony. Pours a hazy amber with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is caramel and toasted malt. Slick body, toasted malt, raisin, metallic finish, not for me.

12 oz. can, pours a deep dark amber with a smalll beige head. Aroma brings out dark red fruits, some toffee and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, brown sugar and alcohol. Boozy and sweet, but it works okay. Pretty decent.

Can thanks to Tony. Pours a very dark brown with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is bourbon, wood, roast, ash, cocoa. Slick body, roast, oak, tobacco, boozy finish, very good.

Can shared with the KL Tasting crew. Poured a hazy golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, grassy tropical citrus fruits, light dry hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter, with a smooth, rich, malt, light biscuit, citrus fruit, light pepper spice, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy orrange-blond colour with generous head. Nice aroma, fruity, melow, plenty of stone fruits with a light tropical note. Lean mouthfeel, very dry, with delicate malt base, and juicy fresh hops, that would be more expressive with a bit of sugar, but this is a lean Pale Ale, so deal with that. The final is a bit short and weak.
Easy to drink; fresh and perfect choice for Pale Ale lovers and as session beer for a warm Canadian summer day.

Dark brown. Thin head. This has a lot of bourbon on the nose, but soft with a mellow coconut note. Has a fair bit of richness, and certainly a heavy barrel treatment.

Can. This has a fudgey nose, with a light vinous note. On the palate, this is fairly rich on the chocolate with a toasty, vinous note, and a sweet, fruity aroma.

Can - Grapefruit, pineapple and grass. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Soured and grassy with a dry finish. Very simple and not as interesting as some of the others.
