Dark brown. No head. On the nose, there's a bit of heat, and there's some dark sugars, some ancho, and a nice bourbon character. It's much the same on the palate. Good body. Nice bourbon note. Good dark fruit and chocolate. Basically a solid impy.

Rating from memory on this one. Had it on the weekend at a house party. What was distinctive is that there was a lady there who is just starting to get into craft beer. She didn't know much, but I asked her what she thought of this beer and she just said "breakfast". That was a very apt description given how juicy this is citrus bomb is. I find I tend to like NE style IPA/IIPAs more than PA, but the juiciness with the lack of body just made this highly poundable. I think the women is one to something and I might have to drink a can of this with breakfast sometime in the near future.

355ml can. Pours a cloudy pale straw colour with a medium, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Slightly sour aroma of citrus rind, lacto, melon and grainy pale malt. Sweet flavour of orange, lime, grapefruit, melon, grainy pale malt, wheat and light tropical fruit with a dry, slightly sour lacto finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Easy drinking and refreshing.
