Good roast, some coffee and some dark chocolate. A little caramel. Pours dark with good head and lacing. Great balance, and well done. Hopefully these guys keep this up like viagra. Tap at brewpub.

A lot of fresh citrus peel and some green onions like mashed potatoes. Decent balance, though hops aren’t supported by a solid enough malt character here to be a truly big IPA. Hopefully if they keep perfecting this beer it will come along. A little bit cloying on aftertaste. Tall can from Little Guy liquor co in the SHP. Represent.

355ml can. Pours a hazy pale gold with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of tropical fruit, citrus (mainly lemon), lacto, pale malt and hay. Sour lacto flavour with sweet pale malt, lemon, light tropical fruit, hay, grass and grapefruit rind bitterness in a dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Black colour, beige head. Straight imperial stout with bold roast character and some tobacco. Warming alcohol.

2016-08-24, tasting at Matt's, bottle, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Dark color, near black. Nice aroma, dark caramel, a bit bready and dusty; moderately sweet, the body seems thinner because of the strong alcohol feeling; some roasted nuts, some cocoa nibs.
Quite good.

Medium brown. No head. Has a bit of fudgey character, light toastiness, and an overall touch of barrel. This is light on the body, a touch of chocolate, and a light fruity taste. Would like this to be bigger in body.
