Can. Gold with an inch of white head that fades fairly quickly. 3- Aroma is slightly grainy with some lemon and mild grassy and spicy notes. Light bodied. Fizzy. Not much to the malt - a bit of grainy cracker - but that leaves room for the modest spicy and lemony flavours to snap at the end. Going for the just a beer that tastes like beer crowd (which is huge) without embarrassing themselves at all.

From a 440ml can on 30/8/2020 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a slightly cloudy medium golden with a small head. Has a moderate tropical and citrus fruit nose. Tastes of muted mango, pineapple and orange, with a modest bitterness. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy, the carbonation moderate. Pleasant enough but lacking a bit of punch.

Can. Fairly cloudy amber with an inch of white head that laces well. Robust orange aroma with skin and pith and flesh, crackers and Asian pineapple behind. Smooth texture at first. Fairly juicy with lots of orange before a finish that's as spicy as it is bitter. Just slightly astringent at the end too. Cheery, charming and very swiggable.

440ml can. Dark brown. Choc chip cookie nose. Lots of milo-type choc flavours. Little bit of coffee. Does become more well-rounded with warming.

Can. Almost opaque dull gold with a small white head that's soon less than a coat. 3- Aroma of mango, Norsca, grapefruit. Soft texture at first with low bitterness and a curious list towards metallic and licorice sprinkles at the end. Before that it's fruity but fairly dry. Lowish carbonation. Doesn't offer much for 8% ABV.

Can from Near & Far (Fitzroy). Golden. Lemon nose. Nah, that lemon myrtle makes this all soapy and air freshener like in terms of flavours, The sourness is there, but the rest is repellent.

From a 440ml can on 7/7/2020. Pours a deep brown with a medium head which disappears quickly. Does smell like quite a bit like chocolate cookies. Tastes relatively sweet with lots of milk chocolate and bit of dough, finishing with a slightly sharp roasty bitterness with a hint of coffee. The mouthfeel is slick and the carbonation moderate. It's decent enough but just doesn't quite come together for me.

Can. Gold with a modest white head. Aroma of feijoa, pineapple, grapefruit, earthy/ grass/ herbal notes I'm not sure about. But they pull the beer into line with an almost brusque finish. The fruit subsists underneath. A bit disjointed but OK.

Can. Clear golden amber with a cm of white head that never disappears. Aroma draws you in with grilled grapefruit, toast, pine with a menthol top. Clean and not very sweet with a slight caramelised edge to a fairly lean malt side of things. Citrus and pine needles (but no weediness) at a pointed bitter finish. Straightforward and very good.
