Tap at Let the Girl Kill, Bangkok. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy, short-lived off white head. The aroma is malt, grassy citrus, light horse blanket. The flavour is moderate bitter super light sweet with a smooth, rich, light fruit, dry grassy, spice, light liquorice aniseed palate and a lingering bitter sweet finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not like any other Black IPA I’ve ever tasted. Plenty going on here and an easily drinkable beer. I guess you could say that War Hops are pushing the boundaries!

The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a malt, tropical fruit, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

The flavour is moderate sweet with a crisp, fresh, tropical fruit, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Awesome for a local Thai beer.

Tap at Let the Girl Kill, Bangkok. Poured a murky dark amber, light brown with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, banana, tropical fruits, melon and mangos. The flavour is moderate to light sweet with a smooth, fresh buttery, fruity, smooth crushed banana palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I didn’t expect much and was pleasantly surprised. Served slightly warm which suited the beer and let the flavours come through.
