Tap at the Collingwood brewpub. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big woody vinous, malt, citrus fruit. The flavour is light sour with a smooth grainy malt, biscuit dough, light tart fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Quite an amazing nose but things fell away after that. The finish was smoother and the beer more drinkable as the temperature rose though.

As advertised, it's a salty watermelon beer. If you're a big sour fan, you'll probably find this too tame. It's a nice novel beer with plenty of watermelon flavour but it has a pretty thin palate and personally I'm not quite sure that salt and watermelon are a match made in heaven.
