Tulip on tap at the Local Taphouse, Sydney. Pale yellow/green beer with thin head and light carbonation. Nose is lightly malty. Thin mouthfeel, sour taste. Finish is a bit salty, a bit sour then.......hello, blackcurrant! But as soon as it arrives, it’s gone. So it tastes like a standard Berliner Weisse with a tiny touch of fruit. Refreshing, easy-drinking, true to style.

Pint on tap at The Local Taphouse, Sydney. Pale amber beer with thin film of suds. Slight grainy nose, some toasty malt. A few bubbles ascend. Light body. Reminiscent of a kolsch, grainy and sweet. Lovely lager, really easy drinking.

Tap. Mandarins, some passionfruit, crackers, pine creeps up. Clean. Aroma is a bit restrained but it’s tasty and everything has room to move. Dry and moderately bitter at the end. Unspectacular but pleasant. 6373 14
