Can. Hazy yellow. Lychee and mango nose (but not huge). Juicy, but again, surprisingly restrained. Fine, but not exciting. Expecting a higher voltage effort.

From a 500ml can on 19/10/2019. Pours a hazy deep golden with a smallish white head which disappears quickly. Has a very light dank fruit aroma. Tastes of pineapple, mango and passion fruit with a gentle bitterness at the back. The palate is silky and the carbonation moderate to average. Not overly exciting but decent and tasty enough.

Can from my parents: pours light orange with a white head. Aroma is lightly citrusy with some gentle maltiness. Taste is lightly fruity. Somewhat sweet. Very simple.

From a 500ml can on 9/9/2019. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a biggish white head. Has a strong tropical fruit salad nose. In the mouth, it's nice and sweet, dominated by mango and pineapple with a very mild spicy bitterness in the background. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Simple but really nicely balanced and super smashable for the size. This is the first Balter I really rate. Way better than their standard hazy and normal IIPA for mine.

Tap at the Northern Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, mineral, zesty jammy orange marmalade citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a juicy citrus, light warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap at the Great Northern Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, earthy, mineral, fruity, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Quite hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall pure white head that fades quite quickly to just about nothing on top. Aroma of tropical fruits, resin, grass, hay and a good dose of flowers and some yeastie funk as well. Medium-bodied throughout; Strong grassy and very floral bite at first that shows a ton of hay and some medicinal and astringent hoppy and alcohol flavours towards the end with a dash of grain and flowers towards the end with a noticeable sweetness as well from the fruits. Aftertaste shows some bitter hops with a big floral component and a dash of the grassier and dry hay like flavours, but the astringent and more pungent alcohol comes through as well. Overall, a good enough, almost Imperial-ish IPA that shows decently well, but compared to a good American Imperial IPA, people would laugh at this and especially the price tag. I'm happy I don't have to contend with these prices - the beer here is a bit too rich for my blood. I sampled this 500 mL can purchased from Australia Wine Supply here on Pitt Street in Sydney (CBD), New South Wales, Australia on 12-August-2019 for AU$12,00 sampled here in my hotel room in Sydney, NSW, Australia on 15-August-2019.

Old school.

Pint on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Golden amber beer with a thin white head. High fine carbonation. Nice lacing. Notes of pine and citrus on the nose, sparkles in the mouth. Taste is bitter and herbal with a surprisingly light body for the ABV. There's a slight note of caramel in the undertow and some late late lingering pepper. Best described as a high class quaffer.
