Shortlived white head over faintly veiled golden beer. Asafoetida, quite intensely; boiled potato (peel included), almost no fruity/hoppiness. Asafoetida again, light-sweetish, some fruitpeel, as good as no citrussy notes, and sweet bulbs, halfway fruit-vegetable. Quite slick, medium carbonation, oily feel. Never had such outspoken asafoetida smell, and just never boiled potato in any beer. Txs to Joren!

490ml can from Big C, Pantip, Chiang Mai. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light piney. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, light herbal, slightly watery, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Fast gone small white head over cloudy yellow-golden beer. Spicy nose, with some clove whiffs, toilet soap, citruspeel. Bitter, with a citrussy, almost-acidity. Spicy, if nowhere coriander-infested. Again hints at clove. Light, slick to oily, refreshing. Good carbonation. Nice - but it would appear Thai microbrewers have their beers brewed at the big industry. Txs to Joren & friends!

Tap at Baan Bangkok. Poured q hazy golden colour with lots of bubbles and a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, citrus, mineral, light boozy. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a light crisp, fruity, mineral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation.
