Dose („Brewery Vinaken Bigken“, 33 cl) aus dem Flower Shop, Pjöngjang. - „Beer for sophisticated man“, steht auf dem Karton. Dann wollen wir mal sehen, ob ich „sophisticated“ genug für dieses anspruchsvolle Bier bin ... - Goldgelb, klar und mit schönem Schaum fließt es aus der Dose. - Geruch limonadig-fruchtig mit deutlicher Süße und nur schwachen, gemüsigen Anklängen an Hopfen. - Antrunk malzsüß mit kräftiger gemüseartiger (Kohl) aber wenig herber Hopfennote. Milder rezent als üblich, weich im Mund, annähernd vollmundig. Trockener, mild krautig herber Abgang; unangenehm chlorig-plastiksüßer Nachtrunk. - Etwas zuviel Gemüse und zuwenig Herbe in weich-süßlicher Malzeinbettung: sehr sophisticated ist das nicht, aber immerhin noch trinkbar.

Can at Craft n’ Taps, Hanoi. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is lager malt, some hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light sweet malt, light citrus, light floral hop palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. One of the better Vietnamese beers. Not too gassy and a little flavour.

Can at Caps n’ Taps, Hanoi. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light hop. The flavour is light bitter with a light zesty lemon rind citrus, light hop bitter palate and a bubbly mouthfeel. Light bodied with lively carbonation.
