22 oz. bottle, pours a dark brown / black with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma of plum, wood, a noticeable hop presence, chocolate malts and slight licorice. Flavour of dark cherries, plum, wood, considerable hoppiness, and chocolate / licorice malts. Full-bodied, rich and complex. Another excellent beer from Lighthouse.

650mL bottle, pours an orangey gold with a medium head. Aroma of spices, caramel and mild hops. Flavour is quite light for this type of beer, mild spices / Belgian yeast, mild resinous hops and light caramel. Pretty uninteresting, to be honest.

Deep blond color, with small head. Nice aroma of cereals and malt. Good body strength, malt flavor with tones of hay; strong bitterness, with a moderate hoppy grassy touch.
I wish an Imperial Pilsner for once can accentuate the crispy malt and the nobility of mitteleuropean hops; that won’t be this one.

341mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours golden orange with an off-white head. Nose of slightly roasted caramel malts, light butterscotch and some metallic notes. Flavour of essentially the same, with a finish of a cross of butterscotch and the metallic notes. Nothing special here.

650mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a mostly clear copper with a white head. Crisp pilsner hops on the nose, with a floral and biscuity qualities. Flavour is very crisp, with dry grassy hops, cereal and a slight sweetness. Hops are very fresh and biting. Wonderful example of a pilsner and yet another great addition to Lighthouse's "big" beers.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing light tan head. The aroma caramel, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, alcohol, caramel, malt, and a bit of metal, leading to a dry finish. The alcohol burns the tongue. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Dark amber color, almost brown; small sized head. Mild caramel aroma, some cereals. Good body strength; the caramel flavor is good, but the alcohol perception is too strong, and there is a light vegetables touch, typical of a few of these styles when the fermentation is pushed far; there is also a nutty touch, and that is better. Not too bad, but not exciting.
