Nice dark amber in colour with a thick creamy off-white head. Fruity malts with spiced notes, like cinnamon, but faint. In mouth, nice sweet caramelly malt with buttery mouthfeel, diacetyls? Some nuttyness comes later in finish. Light and quaffable. Thanks Jean Marc.

Hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Pleasant sweet malt in aroma with english hops, vanilla and oranges. In mouth, a lighter IPA, but with a good malt base to keep it interesting and sustained light hops, with a touch of citrus. Thanks JM.

Very dark brown colour. Very coffeeish, tarry, slightly tobaccoey aroma with slight husky malt. Body is moderate. Flavour leans towards sweet nutty-coffee with a hint of burnt that lends a certain dryness to the finish.

Light gold colour. Aroma is rather cidery, husky. Begins with a harsh graininess but the astringency fades as it goes, leaving traces of bready malt towards the finish. Body is full for style, carbonation low. OK, I never expect that much from Canadian microbrewed lager anyway.
