Tap at Dock No.13, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, earthy, mineral leather, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light watery, light caramel malt, mineral, smoky, charcoal, light hop bitter palate. My initial impression wasn’t great, but it grew on me over time as it warmed.

The flavour is light sweet, with a light, smooth, grainy, mineral, banana floral, light spicy hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at Dock no 13, Bangkok. Hazy copper-brown, mid sized head. Distinct woody whisky aroma atop toffee. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel, low carbonation. Toffee and chocolate, plenty of peppery oaky whisky with mild peat. Peppery finish. Potent and interesting.

Tap at Dock No.13, Bangkok. Poured a murky dark orange amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy toffee caramel malt, light fruit, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a grainy, light fruit, dry floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not a great beer and not a session IPA at all really. I expect better from Udomsuk but they let themselves down with this one. Very home beerish.

Tap at Dock No.13 Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium brown colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is malt, some floral citrus, light nutty, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a rich, grainy, slightly watery cucumber, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not really true to the style if I’m honest, but quite drinkable.

Tap at Dock No.13 Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy dark amber with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is sticky toffee malt, some red berry fruits, big woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich, sweet malt, warm light boozy alcohol, dry woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. A very good beer but a little too alcoholic for me, which made the finish more bitter than I’m comfortable with.
