Description
In Peccatum Craft Beer was born in 2013 under the brand name Cerveza Keltius, brewing Belgian-style beers in a small brewpub in the city of Ourense.
In 2015 it was decided to dispense with the brewpub and move to an industrial estate, dedicating ourselves 100% to manufacturing and distribution, and acquiring new equipment and machinery that allowed us to triple the production volume and automate much of the process. The company aspires to continue growing and improving the quality of its beers day by day.

Sampled draft @ “Double Tap Takeover” at Beerlovers Bar. Black, smaller uneven tanned head. Nose is too roasted, umami, plastic dark fruit, herbal black licorice. Far too much roast in the taste, plastic blueberry, overly roasted harsh lingering bitter herbal plastic umami roast, ashes, low campfire, herbal,… Bit dry lingering herbal bitter plastic,… Lacks any and all balance far too much roast, burned plastic etc. for an RIS. Harissa is totally lost here and the bitter herbal burned plastic overly roasted quality is weird given the unnoticeable addition of apparently of cocoa, cinnamon and honey. Unworthy of Emperor’s name: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgQRRI9goFg

Thx! Sampled draft @ “Double Tap Takeover” at Beerlovers Bar. Sorry hated this one, hopefully the band"s “The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud” former members enjoyed it more than I did if they are aware of this beer. Dark brown, tanned head. Nose is rotting dark fruit, spoiled sweet cherry, thin oak, rotting fruit, watery,… Taste is watery rotting fruit, spoiled red fruit, thin watery rotting fruit, empty oak, watery spoiled wine,… Thin watery, lacking carbonation, spoiled,…. Scores on here but I found it a truly poor & unpleasant wannabe sour, must be me.

Sampled draft @ “Double Tap Takeover” at Beerlovers Bar. Deep hazy orange, small white head, nice lacing. Nose is like a warning awful seaweed, ocean with peated mineral, paint thinner qualities, fish, sharp, smoked malt,… Seriously,… Awful affair taste is likewise, sea salt peated seaweed, smoked paint thinner, chemical, thick malt, aftertaste really lingers, smoked chemicals, paint,… Thicker body. To a handful of people this might appeal but for me this is a train wreck hiding behind the terms experimental sours, this is just nonsense.
