Description
In Peccatum Craft Beer was born in 2013 under the brand name Cerveza Keltius, brewing Belgian-style beers in a small brewpub in the city of Ourense.
In 2015 it was decided to dispense with the brewpub and move to an industrial estate, dedicating ourselves 100% to manufacturing and distribution, and acquiring new equipment and machinery that allowed us to triple the production volume and automate much of the process. The company aspires to continue growing and improving the quality of its beers day by day.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Hazy dark orange to reddish color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma reminds me of a standard Belgian Strong Ale. Don’t get rye, don’t get smoke, don’t get bourbon. Flavor the same: I don’t get any rye, don’t get bourbon and don’t get smoke. Just sweetness sugary. And I don’t get alcohol even though it’s 15% ABV!! Quite weird though that Thompson sampled it from the same bottle and got all these things but I just didn’t get anything. Also very dangerously drinkable as I don’t get any of the 15% ABV.

Bottle @ home. Bit of a gusher. Hazy reddish color, full sized foamy off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, slightly old hops and a bit yeasty. Taste malts, some hops but again a bit old it seems, a hint of fruitpeel tart in the distance, moderately bitter. Firm carbonation, medium body. Best before February 2017 label says. I’m a little disappointed, expected it to be better.
