Description
In Peccatum Craft Beer was born in 2013 under the brand name Cerveza Keltius, brewing Belgian-style beers in a small brewpub in the city of Ourense.
In 2015 it was decided to dispense with the brewpub and move to an industrial estate, dedicating ourselves 100% to manufacturing and distribution, and acquiring new equipment and machinery that allowed us to triple the production volume and automate much of the process. The company aspires to continue growing and improving the quality of its beers day by day.

Shared bottle on 7th July 2016. RBESG guys in Bodega Fermin. slightly hazy golden yellow colour with a decent white head. Brett in the nose, sour and not really my thing. Glad we shared this between us as a cooking apple/cider flavour started to arrive within the semi-yeasty sour beer. Worse thing is: I chose this bottle for us all the rate!

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow to light orange golden color, small off-white lacing, no real head. Aroma is wheat, quite floral, brett. Taste wheat, brett, slightly fruity, a bit floral. Farmhouse ale. Suitable body and carbonation. I quite like it somehow.

On tap in 2d2d Barcelona on 7th July 2016 during the RBESG. Most likely a watered down version of their stronger IIPA (Cowboys from The Hops Remastered). Anyway this was a bit ’Farmyardy’ in aroma and taste, Amber in colour with a white crown on top. I thought it strange!

Hazy gold beer, big fluffy white head. Palate is airy and fairly dry. Decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Pithy hop into light floralness. Mild citric peel. Dry hop spice. Trace of tropical fruits. Dry finish. Dry floral linger. Over dry but hoppy enough.

Aroma of funky cheese and caramel. Like stenchy socks mixed up with your sweet tawny port. Appearance is a reliable had and dark orange body with some fogy and no visible carbonation. Flavour is a muddy funky affair of cabbage with malt hints. Slight cheese hints, mustiness. An odd mix of flavours that is out of balance. Less than exciting mouthfeel. This one could be great but needs a lot more work to make it sing.

Has a nice huge head and foggy yellow body. Aroma is strong sweet hops with grapefruit, peach, and pear up the yin yang. Flavour is crisp hops leaning towards flowers and grapefruit. Sharp dryness to the finish. This is a smart IPA with some memorable characteristics.
