The appearance was a ruddy burnt dark orange almost amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that held and faded at a good pace. Some stringy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of roasted nuttiness, nice and clean caramel maltiness, and then a touch of some grassy hops for balance.
The flavor leans initially towards the sweetness of the malts but tried to bring in the hops somewhat in a bitter fashion but honestly, they stay more in the background. Nicely blended aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, one of the better offerings by this brewery. I could come back to this.

The appearance was a soft burnt light orange color with a light foamy head that quickly fell off. No lace.
The aroma had some sweet grain with some grassy hops and then a touch of earthiness.
The flavor tried to have some sweetness to it, and it also tried to show a little bit of bitterness from the hops. But neither really shines. There’s somewhat of a weird dried bubblegum maltiness in the aftertaste. No finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, not so sure about this one for me. Nice to try, I guess and will leave it at that.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a soft semi-transparent yellow color. Carbonation streamed to the top pretty quick. Foamy little white head crushes immediately. Sliding lace.
The aroma had some lemons, grain, honey, grassiness and a touch of wood.
The flavor blended the prior mentioned flavors somewhat sweetly with some refreshing aspects about it. Somewhat of a crisp lemon sweet aftertaste. No finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a crushability about it that redeems the feel of this beer for what the brewer intends it to be.
Overall, honestly, I don’t see this one as a bad one. I could see it by the grill if offered again, maybe not one to seek out though.

The appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a half finger’s worth of white foamy head. Slowly fades to leave some sly messy lace.
The aroma had some bitter coffee beans and a touch of some salt/damp vinegary - slightly like brine and a touch of roasted malt.
The flavor blended the roast and bitter to the salty/brininess. Bitter to roasty sort of aftertaste with barely any saltiness. Lots of coffee in the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with more of a sipping quality about it. ABV felt appropriate. Bitterness and saltiness impound my tongue to keep this one from being any sort of session.
Overall, nice to try but more of a once and done sort of thing, at least by this brewer.

The appearance was a dark brown color with a cap of a white foamy head that dissipated at a mild pace. Subtle stringy sliding lace.
The aroma had some crispy nuts, a moderate roast and a silky smooth milk chocolate malt ball sweetness.
The flavor was pretty much the same thing. Pillowy smooth sweet chocolate aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a easy going sessionability about it. Fairly low carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, sorry Montauk, I really don’t see this as an American version, not hoppy enough but it’s not a bad English styled one.

The appearance was a dark brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off fairly quick. Light sliding lace.
The aroma had some roasty malt, light nuts and a mild milk chocolate.
The flavor had some roast and had some sweet. Then a grainy sweetness comes in that I didn’t mind, but that leads into the aftertaste and made it just a tad uncomfortable. Quick roasty sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Decent carbonation and the ABV felt fine, somewhat roasty grind into my tongue.
Overall, decent porter but definitely grinds a bit more into my tongue. Maybe again.

The appearance was a burnt orange/copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that glistened and slid off at a decent pace. Mild lace.
The aroma had a nice English sweet floral blend to somewhat of an American bitter floral hoppiness. Seemed quite different for an English pale ale, but smelled pretty good. Slight earthiness and a light biscuitiness at the end.
The flavor takes the English side of the aroma to meet the American side in a semi-sweet to bitter offering and closing on the aftertaste in a mostly malty sort of way. Quick malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Good carbonation and ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done pale ale, whether it’s English or American, beats me, just good, worthy of having again.

The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange almost copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Some light lace.
The aroma had some pumpkin sweetness with just a tickle of some spices ie (ginger/allspice/nutmeg sort of thing going on). Some cereal grainy sweetness underneath.
The flavor tried to blend the pumpkin sweetness to the spices but mainly stays separated. Aftertaste is a bit weird as there seems to be a slight herbal quality wanting to blend in with the pumpkin. I didn’t mind it, but it was quite different. Finish was fairly quick with it’s pumpkin sweetness.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate as the brewer projected. Malts smooth the spice harshness out as expected.
Overall, pretty good pumpkin ale for the most part, just that aftertaste, not so sure.

Draft at RnH-West. Unclear golden pour, think and frothy white head. Pine and grass, a little fruit. Crisp and medium dry, very refreshing. Good stuff.

12 oz. can, rather fresh. Cloudy golden yellow color. White head, leaving lace rings. Aroma’s fruity, citrussy, light sweet. Retronasal it’s fruity, herbal hops, citrussy, moderate bitter. Hopsa aroma gets stronger while warming up. Flavor is moderate to full bitter, with light (dark malty) sweetness. Medium bodied. Lomg finish with herbal bitterness. Pretty nice.
